I've morally debated (with myself) whether or not I should post this...
All I have to say for myself was, it was anything but my idea!

(My shorts + mullet + random stuffing object + inlaws... not a good combo!)

(Luckily, it didn't stay that way!! Riley's needed a haircut for quite some time... I didn't realize what I'd been asking for!)
Chrissy and Riley's 'Annual' B-day Party
was last night @ our house.
It was lots of fun!

Jim, Marge, Steve and Emi enjoying some yummy BBQ hamburgers.

Ha.
Baby Jack and Baby Emi had to help Riley and Chrissy blow out all those candles!
Happy 23rd (late) birthday to Riley + Happy 24th (early) birthday to Aunt Chrissy!

Kind of a random pic but it's hard to get everyone all together looking the same way anyway!

Burton and Jordan...
what happy faces!

Hopefully every body enjoyed themselves at the dual bday party this year...
It was so exciting to cram every body (and all the delicious food they brought) into our little house for the first time!

Oh yeah, here's a pic of the snazzy BBQ grill who now adds charm to our backyard:

Riley loves it!

We have a new follower! his name is David Orlando from Indonesia. He is my new best friend.

Soo... I'm sitting at home on Sunday before spring break ends, right before I need to get ready to go into work.. I should be doing homework-- but I'm not.

I found a very exciting blog to look through, it seems to be one of the sweetest things to do for someone you don't know. It makes me smile to even think about it.. I'm not sure if it'd be better to receive a toy (some are a little scary!) or to know someone else has picked up a toy you made.

From what I understand, people who are creative enough to make little toys 'drop' them in areas where they will be found by someone. That person is suppose to keep them and feel warm and fuzzy inside. Cute!

Well, the seeds I planted had a chance to survive for one day, until they were mauled by the team of ravaging beagles.
Here's how many I have left.. at least there's some (they're a mystery too-- who knows what types of flowers they are)!
I've been slowly piecing them back together.

-Here's some pics from Riley's birthday-

The 1st ones are of the mini-midnight birthday party I threw for him.

Small party, I know.. but it was fun.

Yay. New shirts & a wallet equipped with concert tickets...

Jack didn't mind the balloons one bit.
Scout wouldn't come close to them.

Here's some pics of our lunch @ Troy's BBQ with some of Riley's family.

Jim, Jane, Jordan, Monica, me, and Riley enjoyed perfect weather and a massive amount of BBQ piggy.
Yum.

I'm pretty sure he had a good birthday.
We went to his parent's house for dinner last Sunday and it was great to see everyone (sorry-- forgot the camera!). The rest of his family is in Disneyland right now, but will be home this weekend.. & Jordan is home from his mission for a while until he starts feeling better. Riley was so excited when he heard he'd be back for a while!

Riley also got a really neat BBQ grill from his parents, Grandma Jane and Marge and Steve.. we'll try it out Monday (pics to follow!). Also, thanks to Jim he will now shave his face.. which I'm sure we all appreciate. He's also gotten a new gaming headset and video game with some extra bday cash from my mom!

Thanks everybody!!

So I woke up this morning, and Danielle was wearing stretchy pants, and I couldn't stop laughing about it all day. So I blogged about it.

Well.. I finally did it!
I signed up to be a Big Sister, after a girl at work did it also. I needed someone else to jump in and tell me how it's not so scary. Hopefully I'll get the coolest little sis ever (since I guess I could use more sisters..! ha.), I'll let everyone knows how it goes on here!

I was off work today and was able to plant my little seeds after class! Hopefully they turn into flowers before the dogs tip them over. I made a mess, but it was fun. One of these days we're going to plant some tomatoes in the backyard-- yum!

FLOWERS + CILANTRO

Both me and Riley will be out of class all week.. yay for Spring Break.
We're almost done with this semester, too.. but are going to keep going. I have a bunch of assignments that I'm actually excited to be working on for the remainder of school.. weird, I know.

Spring is here!
[ALMOST. March 20th starts it off this year.. which also happens to be Riley's birthday.. lucky #23.]

Tonight after I reached my limit of cleaning, I found the coolest t-shirt website.

www.threadless.com

It's called Threadless and it's made up of independent designers (and people like you and me) who can submit designs for shirts.. and if you're voted on, they print your shirt. AND you get a lot of money (+$2,000 worth).
Here's some fun designs:

They have shirts for guys and girls and even kids and babies! I'd buy them.. if I had money, so if you do, check them out.

Hi Mom!
And whoever else wants to take a look at our pictures.
I've finally gotten them all on here (it's taken like an hour to try and just get them placed on this site).
Hope you enjoy!

p.s. Here's a fun picture of us tonight.. using the timer button on the camera. We are sometimes a two headed monster.. haha.

Also, Scout was pretty curious about me standing in the backyard, and wanted to let me know she says 'hi, hi, hi'.. her eye still looks pretty bad, but she's doing fine!

And here it is:
The best picture I could get of our tree. It's the big one, in the middle. Jack's probably laughing inside because he pee'd on it.

And we have grass! Thanks to the Bracken's for helping us!

Ha. Here's what we've been use to for the last few weeks.. there's still some random piles that haven't been put away yet.. but we're getting there!

Big creepy window

My beautiful blue bathroom... it's a lot brighter and lots more blue in real life...I was scared to paint it, but I think it turned out okay. I really am not a fan of the double mirrors.. or either one in particular, but that's what it came with.

Here's where to look to find Jack 96% of the time.
The bedroom hasn't really been touched yet. We're still trying to decide what to do with it.

Yay, tax returns! Mine turned into a washer and dryer this year. Too bad there's no stimulus check.. I could put it too a good use! I think I'm going to re-paint the laundry room dark brown. Don't mind the creepy smiling faces that the washer and dryer always have...

Ta-da! That's it for now.
Thanks to both my family and to Riley's family for everything they've done to help us! We both love you SO much.

Next, we'll be planting flowers and tomatoes..
